Yes and no: A lazy eye is a term that is commonly used for two different things. The first is amblyopia which is poor vision due to a poor connection with the brain. The second is strabismus which is an eye turn. It is possible to have both conditions. Surgical correction is avaible for strabismus. Surgical correction can slightly improve the vision in amblyopia sometimes but not always.
