Not necessarily: Using culturelle to treat "diarrhea" in a five month old is not always advisable. Stooling every feed can be normal in some infants especially if they are exclusive breast fed and solids have not been introduced. If this is true liquid stools consistent with diarrhea, if it is not infectious and is instead due to other conditions, culturelle may not help.
