Repeat the test: It is unlikely a viable pregnancy. However, to be safe, I would suggest to do TV ultrasound in 1 week to be sure it is true a missed abortion.

Im concerned about a blighted ovum. HCG levels doubling appropriately (every 48h). Current HCG 5386, progesterone 12.4, TVUS showed 16.3mm empty gestational sac. No yolk sac seen. Repeat US in 1 week. Any hope of viable pregnancy?
Hcg levels doubled from 998@21dp5dt to 2048@23dp5dt. A 6wk scan only shown a gestation sac but no yolk sac/fetal pole. Could this be a blighted ovum?
