Diagnose diabetes: Tp diagnose diabetes mellitus once must undergo a glucose tolerance test. In addition fructosamine or hemoglobin A1C levels can be checked. A slightly elevated RBS may not have much significance depending on it's timing and what you ate prior to the blood test; hence the need for more thorough evaluation.
