Mostly clinical exam: There is no blood test that can conclusively diagnose RA. Pos rheumatoid factor is not specific and does not make diagnosis.Anti-CCP test is more specific for RA.MUST have joint findings on exam or active synovitis on MRI that MUST be done with IV contrast to detect RA or ultasound.In any case, you should be evaluated by a board certified rheumatologist who knows the wide differential diagnosis.
