Dangerous to have a labile pulse? my doctor says he has never heard a more labile pulse. ecg's have always been in sinus rhythm. why does this occur?

Check Yourself: Pulse is the sensation felt when pressing, with appropriate pressure & position, over any artery; a result of artery distension with the varying pulse pressure. Easy to be fooled by other movements if not careful. If heart rate very stable (actually varies with breathing), then pulse pressure & pulse strength usually also quite reproducible.
