Care management: There are businesses that are especially attuned to seniors needs. Geriatric care managers are social workers and or nurses that wil help organize care for an elder, in particular for those with families that are not close by. Care managers will access support services like home health aides, make doctors appointments(and accompany patients if needed) and assess other potential needs.
