How do i get repeated tests done to check for diabetes if the walkin doctor will only send me to the lab once?

Get a meter: The only way to check is to get yourself a meter and check. If the suspicion for diabetes is high, you will definitely need one anyways. What we usually check in the office is a Hb A1c that will give us an idea about your average blood glucose over the previous 8-10 weeks.
