What is standard work-up for a child reporting frequent abdominal pain around stomach, esp w/running, after constipation & food reactions r ruled out?

No standard workup.: Work up of this type of pain can only be determined after a detailed history and physical exam and a review of any other tests which have already been done. It is possible that the child may need a trial of medications or dietary changes. It is also possible that procedures may be necessary. I would follow up with his primary care doctor, and consider a referral to a pediatric GI doc if necessary.
