See a doctor: Tingling often means a nerve is irritated. Tingling in the middle finger may be caused by a nerve problem in one of several places, but a pinched nerve in the neck and carpal tunnel syndrome are the most common reasons. A neurologist can help you figure out what the cause is and whether or not something worrisome is going on.
