X-Rays: Pain during and after ambulation that is tender to the touch is indicative of an injury and possibly a fracture in your foot. You should protect the area and be seen in person by a physician for clinical and radiographic evaluation as soon as possible!

Fracture/Gout: If you have been active, you may have a fracture. Depending on if there is redness, swelling and/or heat, you could also have gout? Best advice is to have an x-ray taken to rule out a stress fracture and a Uric Acid Blood test drawn to rule out Gout if there is heat, swelling and redness.
