A member asked:

Can i eat bananas if my potassium is 5.1?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

High Potassium level: If you have kidney disease, you should be very careful with potassium in diet. A regular size banana, is equivalent to 10meq of potassium pill and this can increase the level by few points depending on the kidney function.
