I'm not sure...: ...Where you are going with this, but I have had patients tell me that they enjoy warming up cold areas of their bodies (ears, usually) for reasons that are not clear, at least to me. You mentioned toes, so if you're saying that your spouse has cold feet in bed, try telling him or her to wear socks to bed.
