A member asked:

Toes go cold&blue/purple when i sit down but return to normal when i stand up/walk for abit. skin around toes doesn't heal well either.what'stheproblem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vasospasm: This is probably due to some degree of cold intolerance causing peripheral vasospasm or vasoconstriction. As you stimulate the peripheral circulation by walking around the circulation to your toes improves. If you have any other concerns about this observation, consult a vascular surgeon who will check your arteries and veins in your lower extremities.
