Dx ankle clonus: Your doctor is correct to refer you to a neurologist and i'd make an appointment. Clonus can indicate a problem in the central nervous system or spinal cord and hence should be evaluated. Speak with the neurologist's office re using credit cards or setting up a payment plan so you can afford to go.
