CPAP intolerance: CPAP is a gold standard for the management of the obstructive sleep apnea. For some patients, though, CPAP doesn’t effectively do what it was created to do or leading to side effects (e.g. Sinus irritations). The alternative is an oral appliance therapy delivered and monitored by dental sleep provider. The combination of both, CPAP and oral appliance could be the answer in many cases.
