Probably not: You might be experiencing this discomfort from an ovarian cyst. This may sound scary, but an ovarian cyst is perfectly normal. You have one each month when you ovulate. On occasion, these cysts will be a bit larger and give you pain. These cysts almost always resolve on their own within a few weeks to a month.
