It is not Cut& Dried: Excessive radiation can cause cancer.So all x-rays have this potential if you give a large enough dose by repeated testing. This is why we suspect ct scans can actually contribute to a few hundred new cases of cancer in the us each year. But where and who exactly got it, is not possible to point out.
