Not the formula: Constipation can be a temporary finding in babies. Since they eat formula, the natural assumption is that formula causes constipation. However, it's best to have the doc look at the baby and determine if the baby needs testing for other medical conditions or try ways to soften the stools without changing the formula unnecessarily.
