A member asked:

Have had period for 4.5 years now and not growing any taller, why is my jaw still growing out? shouldn't growth plates be closed by now?

Growth plates: Growth plates in the jaw are known to slow down around age 18. Occasionally some continue growing a bit into the early 20's. It is best to be evaluated in person by a dentist or oral surgeon, who will take radiographs of your jaw.
