Better get an X-ray: The bone could be broken. Your description sounds like a perfect indication for an x-ray evaluation.

FRACTURE?: With this type of ankle/foot inversion injury, there is a possibility of a 5th metatarsal fracture. And true, it could just be swelling from the rolling. Get an x-ray to be sure.
