Recheck: Azithromycin is not the drug of choice for an acute sinus infection. Amoxicillin and Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) are, but of corse some are allergic to these drugs. You may need to be re-examined to determine the reason for your present symptoms/lack of response.
