A member asked:

Uterus enometrial thickness 11.1 mm .is it harmful ? what is the ideal range and periods affect the lining.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most likely normal: At your young age the uterine lining thickness fluctuates considerably depending on your cycle. It is thinnest right after menses and may be only a few mm. After ovulation and up to menses it can be over 1 cm. It sounds like you might be in the second half of the cycle. If you are overweight and have irregular or heavy bleeding, you should see your provider.
