Painful rear: There is a possibility that you have an anal fissure and or a thrombosed hemmorhoid. These are easily managed by a competent GI specialist.

Probable fissure: Most likely a fissure and having either hard stools or unformed stools contributes to this. You need to avoid spicy foods and acidic foods like tomatoes , soak in a warm tub water for 10-15 minutes after a hard bm. Correct your stools with hi fiber diet 20-25 gms per day and cut out caffeine and alcohol and consume 80-100 ounces of other fluids per day. Best to get diagnosis confirmed by a colorec.
