Anal pain: Possibilities include anal fissure, thrombosed hemorrhoid, inflamed ingrown hair or early perianal abscess, Apply hot(not too hot) moist compresses or sit in hot water, keep stool soft by taking stool softener, use glycerin rectal suppositories if BM's are painfu!l. If not improved or worse, see your MD, proctologist or colorectal surgeon for evaluation and advice.
