Would yoga do anything a child that has adhd?

Try it: Children with adhd are not going to be able to sit or do anything for one hour. Yoga and a yoga teacher that knows something about adhd maybe able to help to relax the mind and teach the child to breathe. Adding omega 3 dha, b complex, can help. Cutting out the sugar, eating more fresh fruits/veggies, lean proteins can help. Sports can help. Keep them engaged, eat healthy, .

It can help: The right yoga or even martial arts teacher can play a role in teaching and taining self-control, sensory-motor integration, discipline, body-awareness, and a method for self-soothing. I'd agree with the prior responder that the right teacher who has paitence and experiencing working with adhd individuals would be important, as well as considering the particular attention span of the individual.

Martial arts, gymnastics, yoga, & dance help.
