I used a neti pot last night & it didn't drain my other nostril very well & i felt worse after i used it my nose feels swollen & woke up feeln the same?

Sinus trouble: That side may be more congested. You should run neti pot on both sides. You can also use oxymetazoline spray (afrin) a few minutes before using the neti pot to see if that helps. A word of caution is that you should not use oxymetazoline spray more often than 2 or 3 days in a row.
