Aak your dentist: Without being able to examine you, it is impossible to answer your question. Your tongue may simply be bruised, or a nerve may be damaged, or infection has set in, or still other possibilities. Go see the dentist/surgeon who removed your teeth and have him/her take a look.

Date of surgery?: I'm not sure when you first wrote your question, but this is a problem. See oral surgeon ASAP for evaluation/recommendations. If procedure was done by general dentist, still see oral surgeon.
