Maybe: Tn is due to inflammation of the fifth cranial nerve. Dental work could cause it but more likely than not it simply inflamed the condition which you already had before the dentist performed the work.

Not directly: Likely a condition already established that could be triggerd by anything, including a procedure. Or just touching your face. There are specific bite and mouth conditions associated with tn. Generally, the fifth cranial nerve is compressed. Can be improved with bite treatment, or many invasive surgical approaches.

No: Trigeminal neuralgia is a neurological disease that can cause severe pain seemingly of dental origin. A lot of unnecessary dental treatment can be done in a futile effort to relieve this pain if the underlying cause is tn. Dental work can possibly trigger tn pain but the underlying cause of tn is thought to be contact between a blood vessel and the trigeminal nerve at the base of the brain.
