Difficult to control: Back pain is a very common problem and can sometimes be difficult to manage. If you have no structural defects then the best treatment is physical therapy, keeping active and sometimes anti-inflammatory medications such as nsaids and acetaminophen. Rarely, surgery may be indicated. Opioids may provide short term relief but are absolutely not a long term solution.
