What risk can i have if my tinnitus is untreated for more than a month?

Tinnitus: Tinnitus or ringing in the ears can be caused by exposure to loud noises of which there is no cure. However, other causes if treated can reduce or eliminate tinnitus. High blood pressure, anti-inflammatory medications, salt intake, caffeine, stress and nicotine are some things that can cause tinnitus. See your doctor for treatment of the tinnitus.

No medical treatment: At 29 years of age, having tinnitus for a month is not serious and there is no risk. Many people have tinnitus for a lifetime. It is true that at a young age, tinnitus initially is associated with anxiety and depression. Most people adapt to it. If the tinnitus continues, the best physician to consult is an otologist ( an ear specialist).
