Misunderstanding?: Doctors rarely lie. But it does sound like you need to see another doctor. If you don't trust a doctor - even a good one - it's not as helpful. Make sure you understand each other - bring someone along to help if needed. It is not a usual rx for insomnia - it can even cause it. Understanding = help. Achieve it and you're partway there!
