First: Mad cow is rare with a very long incubation period, years!, and you get it from eating food contaminated with the brain, spinal cord and intestines of afflicted cows. And There have been very few cases in the U.S. I wouldn't worry about Muscle Milk and mad cow, I'd worry more that Consumer Reports found Muscle Milk was contaminated with heavy metals.
