What do you advise if i was a very severe alcoholic from 20-24?

Don't drink again: When people have had episodes of pathological drinking, particularly at a young age and lasting for 4 years, it would be highly inadvisable to test yourself again. I would maintain abstinence from alcohol. If you have problems doing this, I would consider some counseling. At the least, if you do drink, you need to be monitoring yourself for problems, or discuss monitoring with your doctor.
