Depends on schedule: There are some variabilites in the method of administering allergy shots, and it could depend on the age of your child. Some offices are doing cluster immunotherapy, where the maintenance dose can be reached in weeks, as opposed to conventional therapy, where it may take months. Once maintenance is reached, shots are given every 2-4 weeks.
