Read less: You have read something scary but unsubstantiated. The iris can be traumatized as part of unmistakeable trauma to the eye. But an iris cannot "break" in the usual sense of this word. Irises can malfunction and if yours in one eye does not behave like the fellow iris, then see an ophthalmologist for evaluation.
