Is it bad for my baby if he accidentally swallowed some of my blood from my cracked nipple?

Very common: Often at the onset of breast feeding your nipples can get irritated and cracked and bleed. The baby usually will tolerate this just fine but you may see some blood in his spit up. Alot of swallowed blood often will cause some vomiting but usually the baby does not swallow enough to worry.
