See a Psychiatrist: OCD is a chronic mental disorder consisting of either OBSESSIONS (persistent, repetitive thoughts possibly involving germs, cleanliness, contamination or order) or COMPULSIONS (repetitive acts such as rechecking locks over and over, cleaning or washing excessively or bedtime/morning rituals). However it is treatable in most cases. Psychotherapy (CBT) or medications (SSRIs) are often useful.
