Not necessarily: CP manifests as a vast range of clinical presentations. Some are associated with diminished usefulness of one or more extremities. paraplegia is the diminished usefulness (dramatically) of two extremities. if your CP keeps you from effectively using 2 extremities, you could be considered a paraplegic
