Scientific Rx: Acne on your trunk, or severe acne, won't respond to topical rx though you do probably want to start using topical benzoyl peroxide. Get with your personal physician. He/she knows a variety of things to try, and if you are offered isotretinoin, consider accepting it -- it's not for the faint-hearted but it will clear you for up to a few years, perhaps remitting permanently.
