This is a myth: I was surprised too, but nobody's been able to show convincingly that acne is impacted much by diet one way or the other. As far as food darkening your skin, somebody's been telling you nonsense. Your skin color is genetic and sunlight darkens it some; if you try to lighten it long-term, you'll disfigure yourself and everyone will ridicule you. Talk with your physician about this stuff now.
