Antihistamines: If you have simple vertigo the treatment is usually a medication called Antivert (meclizine). Since this is really an antihistamine whose side effect tends to help the symptoms, other otc antihistamines may help symptoms. There are, however, other causes/reasons for vertigo which must be ruled out.
