Swelling under eyes: Swelling under eyes are often due to: fluid from thin blood vessels under eyes. This can be due to genetics (got it from mom or day), excess rubbing (shiners), allergies, excess salt in those with kidney issues. Cold ice packs might help decrease bags by contracting the vessels.
