A member asked:

Can chewing tobacco cause an increase in liver enzyme production?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Look for a different cause. It would be shame to miss hemochromatosis, Wilson's, viral or immune hepatitis, or one of the other bad ones because somebody blamed it on chewing tobacco.
