What r possible alternatives to anafranil in treating severe purely obsessive ocd? clomipramine along with zoloft, (sertraline) lamictal, propranolol, and trazodo

Hi-dose SSRI, CBT: On the medication side, ssri antidepressants such as zoloft (sertraline) are the most used, often at doses higher than typically prescribed for depression. It's also worth considering psychotherapy. Cognitive-behavioral approaches such as cbt or erp (exposure and response prevention) are often helpful for ocd.
