Yes: PhotoGuy is a quarterback who has major disfigurement because nobody cared enough to manage his acne when he was a teen. The same is true of actor Chris Pine -- he usually hides his scars with beard stubble. This remains a serious personal and professional liability. Please get treated effectively. Acne is not curable until it self-cures with time, but it is always manageable.
