Not really possible: They is little anyone can do to prevent future arthritis other than to not engage in behavior that could cause injuries to joints.

Arthritis: Stay active. Joints are meant to move and if not moved regularly (without causing any damage of course) they tend to stiffen up. Regular swimming is the best exercise. Walking is second best. Knee joints improve with better thigh muscle strength. A moving joint is a healthy joint. Good luck..
