I'm having symptoms of blood in stool after using preparation h, why is that?

Irritating the fuse: Preperation H may be irritating the already inflammed blood vessels prone to bleed. Cortisone suppositories may help those calm down. An evaluation by your doctor if not done recently would be advisable for bleeding hemorrhoids uncontrolled by simple measures, to see if limited surgical options like banding etc may be more helpful.
