At a consistent bed-: time, rock, read, nurse, wipe out his mouth with a soft cloth even before teeth erupt. Put him in his own crib in his own room, drowsy but awake,to learn to self-calm. Stop the bedtime pacifier by 3-4 mos. Healthy 6-mo.-old's don't need a night feed (check with his pede) & become trained night criers if parents even go in & make eye contact with them & trained night feeders if you keep feeding.
