Co-sleeping: Sleep training while co-sleeping involves the same techniques as sleep training in a separate room. If the toddler wakes up, place a hand on her chest/back and make soothing noises, but do not pick her up or feed her. After a while of consistent reinforcement, the toddler will learn that there is no additional benefit to waking up and will sleep more consistently.
